Encoding settings for gift cards & loyalty cards


Settings

  • Gift Cards
    • Use track 1 and track 2
  • HiCo
    • LoCo ( wears out quicker, like a hotel key)
  • 6 digits minimum
  • Numbers should be encoded into MSR
    • Numbers have to be printed on card
    • NOTE: Our system uses MSR (reader), not MSW (writers)
  • If location have cards with barcodes
    • Location must have a scanner
    • Barcodes = 1D (one-dimensional barcodes)
    • Uses Code 128 format
    • 6 digits minimum.
