Symptom: Tickets not printing form EZDine for star printer locations.



Step 1: Check for multiple instances of the printer

  • Star Printers are port specific, if it was moved to another usb port, Windows will install another copy
    • Look for Star TSP 100 - Copy
    • Set Printer options
      • Printing preferences
        • Layout > Advanced > paper Size = 72 mm x Receipt
        • Printer Optimization = Disabled
      • Navigate Admin > Local Support Settings
        • Set the "copy" as the default EZDine printer.


Step 2: Setting up Star printer for bar use in Print Module

  • Install printer on the station
  • Share the printer
  • Run the StarTSP100 installer on the server
  • Set printer options
  • Set print module
  • Set to the "bar" as requested
