Symptom: Net E-Pay error: Failed to connect to mercury servers
Step 1: Determine EZDine Version
- If current version > 5.00.05, Proceed to Step 2
- If current version < 5.00.05, Proceed to Step 3
Step 2: Version > 5.00.05
- Navigate: Admin > Support Settings > Credit Card Setup
- Verify Server URL is the same as the system running NetEPay
- Generally the server computer
- Change if needed
- Save
- Close
- Reload EZdine on ALL stations
- Verify NetEPay is NOT showing OFFLINE
- Test
Step 3: NetEpay and < 5.00.05
- Access Ezdine folder
- Look for mercuryservers.cc
- Open in notepad and ensure server ip is correct
Step 4: Determine if CC processor is Mercury/Datacap
- Navigate Admin > Support Settings > Credit Card Set.
- Verify Processor is Mercury / Datacap
- Start/Restart NetEpay
Step 5: Restart SQL datacap service
- If Datacap is the processor there will be another sql service independent for it
- Services > SQL Server (Datacap Instance)
