Symptom: Location states the caller id is not working



Step 1: Troubleshoot WCListener

  • Log into server / stations, look for Whozzcalling shortcut on desktop/system tray icon.
  • Open Whozzcalling Listener (WCListener), should open in system tray.


  • Open Whozzcalling Listener in system tray by right-clicking and selecting "Show"


  • Place test call to restaurant, look for CallerID to recognize your number.


Step 2: If issue unresolved

  • Computer that hosts callerID needs restarted.
  • CallerID box is unplugged, make sure unit has power.
  • Phone cord unplugged from CallerID.
  • Re-connect USB connection to computer
  • May have gone out during a big storm (inquire of caller when / if storm recently)
    • Unit may have to be replaced (Escalate)
