General Information
General Device
- The router will perform check-in to the WTI network server every 5-10 minutes.
Failover
- The WTI device continues to do multiple continuous pings to https://www.google.com/ and https://www.amazon.com/.
- Failover
- The Device will enter Failover Cellular Backup in the event the ping tests fail 3 consecutive pings in a row.
- Returning ISP network
- In the event a device in Failover mode successfully obtains 5 consecutive successful pings in a row, the device will revert to Normal Internet usage

WTI Alerts
- There are multiple kinds of alerts that will show up in the inbox
- Failover
- When the device enters failover mode
- Fall Back
- When the device returns to using ISP connection
- Daily/Monthly Thresholds
- Emails for when usage within a period has exceeded the parameters set on the router.
- Usage Threshold
- An advanced alert that will trigger again if a threshold it met again within a certain about of hours.
- Last Hour Usage
- A secondary alert if the previous hour exceeded a set amount of data
- Router DOWN/UP
- UP
- Device was turned on and operational
- DOWN
- Device was disconnected or turned off and unable to check in for over 2 hours.
- UP
- Failover
Data Watchdog Alerts
This is a service that monitors for potential issues across many data points. For WTI these are used to check for emergency situations and to suspend or activate accounts as needed to avoid cost issues.
- These are the Data Watchdog Alerts you can find
- 90% reached
- Warning that usage is at critical chance of shut down
Monthly Override Adjusted
Used by Admin staff to provide extra data to the location (These will be billed as overage usage)
Threshold Reached and SIM(s) Suspended
The monthly data cap was reached and Data Watchdog has disabled the data to the router until override.
Monthly Adjusted SIM(s) Resumed
Override performed and the router has been reactivated (NOTE Only data watchdog can reactivate the sim.

To prevent your SIM(s) from automatically resuming the next billing cycle, you must deactivate the SIM(s) from the website.
